Incredible – Review of Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok, Bangkok – Tripadvisor

A very nice hotel with good location in a good neighborhood, quiet but still very near sky trains and subway. He always goes above and beyond his duties to ensure our guests have a great stay. Thank you very much for choosing to stay with us here at the Rembrandt Hotel & Suites during your recent trip to Bangkok and for taking the time to post your feedback. I can truly recommend this hotel. Lek always did the extra to help. We really appreciate your nice comments on the service provided by Khun Lek. The staff was very alert and nice specially the doorman Lek.

The pool looks good but only has sun for the morning. The websites say this hotel is value for money but it is not 4 or 5 star. Not the best start to a holiday. The breakfast food was ok though and the bar staff were very friendly although drinks were on the pricey side for Bangkok (bangkok.thaibounty.com). We arrived early and despite asking for an early check in on booking, had to wait two hours for our room sitting in a lobby with no drinks until we complained. In terms of location, it is quite a way from the main sights and with traffic being as it is in Bangkok, it took some time to get anywhere from the hotel.

The rooms are spacious and clean, with a great view. Rembrandt Hotel takes great pride in ensuring guests always feel the warmth of our hospitality during their stay. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, in particular Mr. Tono who helped me with my luggage and with getting a taxi. It’s close to two metro stations, which is helpful. I would not recommend staying here. There are plenty of other hotels in Bangkok to try.
